Has anyone used Luhr-Jensens' J-Plugs for fishing for Salmon or Steelhead? If so, What type of water conditions (Columbia, etc..)?
You can check these out at http://luhr-jensen.com/store/prodsel...%20w/%20Rattle

I've seen them take a springer. We were anchored in the Coon Island area..bassically fishing it like you would a Quikfish. we ended up losing the fish...but it DID happen. Honest!!

Back in the days that Barkley Sound and the Alberni Inlet were the place to be,J-Plugs / Lucky Louies were the bait of choice. White was 'the' hot color. I spent a week near Port Alberni, where I saw the largest number, and largest amount in collective size, of Chinooks hit the docks that I have ever witnessed. A small fleet of sportfishers daily landed hundreds of mint bright, 25-50# chinooks....almost 'all' of them were taken on the white/pearlescent plugs of this type. whoa...I wish I could go back in time.
