Who's chasing Springers Saturday?
Call me crazy, but Dad and I are gonna go for it. Two years ago we landed a piggy on February 9th so I know we're not that nuts. If your heading out too, where are you gonna try? Is the Columbia below the Willy even worth trying? I figure we'll stay above St. Helens. I know I should probably be after steelies, especially since I went 4 for 8 last saturday, but I just can't wait any longer to rig up my first herring and send him swimming down river. Might even fire up the heater and sink a few Kwikies. So come on fellas! WE're gonna wack em! Who's going for it?

Re: Who's chasing Springers Saturday?
I can't wait so I will be at the mouth of the Clack in the morning(Friday). It will be my first Springer run this year. I like to fish in Feb. Big fish come early. Besides I have some time to kill.
Look for the Green/Silver Sea Dory. Say hello.

Re: Who's chasing Springers Saturday?
I'll be out Sunday at my usual spot. Hoping the river clears up and cooperates.

Re: Who's chasing Springers Saturday?
I'm planning on going Sunday as long as we don't get to much rain and cloud up the river more than it is now.

Re: Who's chasing Springers Saturday?
Good to hear other people going out. I was planning on spending a big chunk of both Saturday and Sunday huntin' for springers.
I was hoping I wouldn't be the only early crazy one out there.
