Default I never met him..it still hurts!

I belong to a Jeep Cherokee web sight we share ideas on how to make these "money pits" Jeeps run better and how to do this and that.

One fella "XJFIRE" was his screen name, wanted a part for his Jeep I had one laying around I was not using, I sent it to him free of charge...he was very thankfull we would share infromation and what not he sent me a pic of his Jeep and I sent him a pic of mine , along with the other members
we would share some good topics, I just got done painting some finder flairs on my Jeep , he told me he was on leave from Iraq he was flying out and when he got home in 3 mo he wanted to see how they turned out.
Because he was going to do the same thing to his Jeep.

Today I seen this post:

In Memoriam: Seth "XJFire" Stanton
The war in Iraq has claimed the life of another local (Colorado) soldier. 19 year-old private first class Seth Stanton died from injuries he sustained in a roadside bomb attack.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never met the kid But It hit home. he will never see my Painted flairs on my Jeep , I would like you guys and gals to just remember his mom and dad..how their hearts must hurt.
Thanx Beloved
Lord Bless

That is so sad. I am sorry for your loss. Seems like he was going to be one of your good friends. I will pray for his family and friends.

My old neighbor Don lost his wife a week ago yesterday and his grandson took a piece of shrapnel in Iraq yesterday. His was stitched up and sent back into duty but his buddy lost his leg. Don is really having a hard time. I pray for all those over there and all that are touched by them.

Sort of odd how we can sit here at our PC's and interact with others over the internet and make friends, LSATING FRIENDS AT THAT. and maybe never meet them face to face.
Will pray for His family.

Prayers It's so tough for me pondering whether or not someone went to Heaven or not after they died. I don't know if there's biblical support for my habit of praying for the Soldiers or others who die (along with the living family and friends) but it just feels right when I do it. More than anything it leaves me at a place where I feel like I have a bit more courage to mention God to strangers. I pray that young man was met with open arms and is currently serving the Lord.

Wow. What a story. That one took my breath away.

I'm so sorry. I will pray for the family.
