Fished at Woodhead by the pipe on the 16th. A couple dozen crappie in the 7-11 inch range, several perch and bluegill. The bite was hot for about an hour or so, then it died. Jigs with nibblets.

Just came back from snake river. Weather was cold and windy for few days so fishing is dead. But we do have a good time on the 3rd day. Fishing from 4PM thur 11 fish bite like crazy, can't get them off the hook fast enough. most the fish from 9 to 15".

How deep are they holding right now? I fished Cold Springs yesterday for 5 hours and never touched a fish. Used a pontoon to probe flooded brush and timber, weather was great, catching lousey.

I fished off the boat on Idaho side. All the fish I got about 7 to 13 feet deep.

That might have been my problem, fishing too shallow. Figured with beautiful weather the fish would be up, I am used to the west side where they will come up and enjoy the warming water at the surface, aka sunning themselves.

Thanks for the come back, good fishing to you.

We will be there Tues through Thurs. My reports have been that the fishing is not steller with the un-settled weather
