What kind of rest did you put on that? I was told that I can't get a Dropzone on it because of the dip where the rest goes. This is why I have not ordered one yet.

DUDE!!! You got the coolest dad ever! That's what my son heard from his friends when I got him his .243 anyway. That is a sweet bow! Welcome to the Bowtech family by the way.... BH (I'm thinking the cat on top of the fence didn't make it???)

Re: My Elk Slayer. ( thanks Dad )
Nice shooting, that'll get the job done. And thank your Dad for making the investment, you owe him BIG time!
The accuracy speaks volumes, except in the first picture your bow arm looks weak. Work on getting your elbow up and straighten the arm out so it's more on a parrell line with the arrow.
Now on second hand, maybe this won't work with a compound and release, I'm really not sure anymore since I shoot traditional equipment. But when I used to shoot compounds, I still remember having a straight bow arm with a forward canted wrist.
Oh well, have fun with your new bow,
Gregg

Billy all your dad needs to be concerned with now is how much coffee he can drink while your packing that elk out. If I were you I think I would get him a nice easy chair to rest in as a thanks...

It will come to you one of these days but I might add good grades in school would never hurt. Good luck with your hunting.

This is awsome! I second that you can thank him by getting good grades, dont wreck the car, don't get in touble with the law, stay away for booze and other stuff, AND watch out for girls...THATS REAL TROUBLE! I am sure you dad had that talk with you already...LOL! Give the old man a hug once in a while and when you kill that huge bull that makes his wall hanger look like a rag horn...dont rub it in too much
Jim

I can attest to this. I grew up getting taken hunting with my dad. Now, I take him hunting. You'll get your chance to pay him back.
