Default are anyone cacthing stergon in the wilamette

i would like to go fishing for stergon near oakgrove milwauke.do anyone know what the fish are doing?

Have you ever fished for Sturgeon on the Willamette? If you have you will know that those fish actually bite better when the water is high and brown. Remember they feed by smell not by sight. Go get the Gators before you can't fish for them any more.

did you get out there and try for some i was out on the willy thrusday more towards st. johns and it was slow. thought maybe i go out in the mornign back up by sellwood. thanks if you got any thing to report

I wouldn't recommend eating any fish out of the Willamette that lives there full time. Frequent sewage dumping and lots of farm chemicals draining in from the Tualatin.

Salmon and Steelhead should be fine though as they are only passing through.
