440 sheds in eastern oregon
Anybody see the pictures on monstermuleys elk forum of some sheds that were picked up somewhere in Eastern Oregon. Its a huge nontypical but the story is not real clear on where it came from.

Re: 440 sheds in eastern oregon
A guy that lives between Walla Walla and Dayton, Wa. sent me those pics. His buddy measured the sheds. They were found in Washington. 8x10 and score 402 without a spread. Really crowned out on top like a big Roosevelt. He said the kid that found them was offered $8000 already for the antlers!

That guy is familiar. I think he works with a guide service in the Wenaha.

Would you? I'd be putting every last dollar I had into one of those raffle elk tags, plus borrow some cash. A potential free range public land 440 bull!! Smokes, P.S. I bet he lives in a roadless/wilderness area if its public land.

Re: 440 sheds in eastern oregon
It looks like that guy is standing in front of a barn? Maybe its a barn on an elk farm?

Re: 440 sheds in eastern oregon
Considering there is no information to go with the pictures, too many assumptions and conclusions can be drawn about these sheds. Definately a nice set of elk sheds no matter what state or how it was raised.
