Default O.C. to Portland reports?

Anyone finding that the fishing has picked up? I can't believe how slow the reports have been and by now it should have gotten good. Are Jennie and Bill the only ones catching fish?

Well they sure aren't filing through down at this end of the channel. Terrible reports all week. Only saw 1 fish boated today out of about 3,432 anchored boats. I'm starting to wonder if the run passed through early this year. We were doing better in Feb. and March, even though this 'should' be prime time!

Well the fishing above the falls isn't any better. Spent the day in my favorite spot and got nothing even with decent numbers of fish climbing the falls. Most of the folks were leaving at 11:00 and I only heard of Maybeone fish caught. We headed down river and talked to a few boats who were fishless and for the most part the river was a ghost town by early afternoon. The moss is also making it difficult to fish. I was afraid the slow OC bite would be carried over the falls.

So how do we turn the bite on?

Otherwise I'll do yard work tomorrow.

Bill: Fished the lower end of the channel (St. Helens area) on Thurs. morning up to b6. Saw about 5. Heard from a boat that they saw 6 or so at Gilbert River.

On Friday went to Head of channel (St. Johns bridge). We got one. Heard of a handfull or so caught.

took today off.

Slower THAN slow in the Downtown Area all the way up to Sellwood...tried everything. Saw one fish caught by a 5 year old and his dad at Sellwood @ 11:00 AM, and one other earlier in the day around the Spaghetti Factory.

Hey SG
STZII and I went out yesterday and had only a couple hits. We were in our line there from the Derby and we only saw 3 fish on and 2 kept, and they were on the other side of the river. We had two good takedowns but nothing stuck. The guy next to us had two good takedowns and didn't wake in time otherwise there would have been two fish in our line.
Those fish hit right off the bat in the AM and nothing after that.
