If you have not seen some of my racquetball posts, lets just say I play. Anyhow this weekend the regional championships are being played in Gresham at the Cascade Athletic Club. See my post in LIG

A good friend of mine fell to a very serious injury today. Reaching a bit to far for a ball he SEVERED his ham string and had to be removed from the court on a stretcher and taken by ambulance to ER. A devastating injury for a young friend.

He has a new job, just past his 90 day probation period and it requires lots of physical exertion. He needs all of us tonight, tomorrow and the next several weeks

Got an update on his condition on voice mail a few minutes ago. He severed one of the muscles in his ham string and his leg was so swollen that they had to wait three days to do an MRI. He had an appointment with a surgeon Monday, but no update from that yet. He can barely walk, more like a limp.

Wish it was better news, but that is the scoop
