Multnomah Channel. I either put in at Freds or St. Johns.

The mouth of the sandy is open so long as you stay on the sandy side of the yellow signs that mark the deadline. However, good luck getting a boat in there. It is a sand bar right now. The high water flushed out the system and backed up at the mouth. It is about six inches deep right now and that is only in a certain slot. You can put your boat in at Lewis and Clark and run downriver to some of the holes downriver but you need the river to be running around 9.5 to be able to do that.

The sandy river rondezvous is next weekend i believe. If you have any questions then call Jack Glass at his store at troutdale bridge. The number is (503)-665-2257.
