Default Painting the bottom of your boat?

In the near future i want to redo or just add more paint to the bottom of my boat, its alluminum with paint right now, older Starcraft, my question is has anyone done this themselves while the boat was on the trailer and how did you go about it ,like around the rollers and so forth?

Hey Mattys dad, I take my boat to a boat yard and put it on mount pads, I have a friend that is a thrifty person and does it on his trailer, jacks up on side and then the other, but it is an accident waiting to happen not safe and a pain in the butt to prep and paint. For a few bucks have a boat yard lift and mount.

I'm surely missing something. It's an aluminum boat, and you want to paint the bottom. And why is that?

Its an older Starcraft boat and it allready has some coats of paint on there, just wanted to freshen it up, I also had to seal a couple rivets that where leaking and it left some unpainted spots. Just trying to give this old beutty some Bling.

The Starcraft IS an older Beauty.... and she deserves some Bling! Nice pic. I spent some time on boats like that when I was abit (decades) younger, and they're solid, as well as very purty..... Nice boat!

Thank you, I kinda giggled the whole way home when i bought it kinda humming the tune from gilligans island , but my daughter and wife just love it , my daughter conciders the whole area within the day cabin hers(play area) and tells me to stay in the back and fish(no complaints here ) I can have her out all day and not a complaint. My wife wasn't real happy about it being in the front yard but now that i have moved it to the driveway and kicked her to the street she wishes it was back in the yard.
