Default Fish For Sale

I have heard the indians have lots of fish and no buyers, price down to $.50 a lb. Sounds like may fish are going to waste! I would like some video taken if they start dumping rotten fish when we can not catch anymore.....

Pilar, Cascade Locks would be my guess. I got info from freind in Hood River. I guess they took a good haul from Drano Weds. Just wonderng if they freeze the things or what they do with them when they don't sell before going bad. On ice how long do they have 4-5 days ?

when the netted sockeye up here on lake washington, they had the uncleaned fish in big fish tubs with no ice in the hot sun and people lined up to buy it, they had to be off the water at midnight and this was 2 in the afternoon, the same thing happens on the duwamish every year. people that buy the fish could care less about sportsfisherman, they are dumb people that dont even know the fish they are buying is rotting away, the public needs to get educated about where the fish come from and how they are treated, it`s going to take someone getting sick and dieing from eating one before the news can make a big deal out of it and slow the sales.

They offered it to me for $2.00 per pound at Celilo State Park on Thursday this week. They had those big tubs in the back of a pair of brand new F350's.

They're selling them from the street corners in Northeast Portland for $2.50-$3.50/lb.

Makes my skin crawl to see 'em smiling away and waving their sign that says "Fresh CHinook Salmon"
