Seriously, I think I saw it float by us on Wednesday evening while sturgeon fishing at T6! I wanted to grab it, but by the time I reached for my net, it was out of reach!

Dang! That was a hot plug! In the process of releasing a large springer with 2 many fins, it left me. I immediately grabbed my cell phone and made a call...Mom...Dad...are you sitting down?....I've lost the plug!

We parted ways with a K-14 whilst manuevering a native for release last week. However, no tears were shed due to the fact that all 6 of the K-14's i've bought this year have been smacked by chromers and I never got the chance to designate one as "the" plug.

That's a terrible feeling in the pit of your gut SS. Doesn't get much worse. My deepest sympathy! ... Speaking of losing plugs, I was at Taco Bell the other day and ... oh ya, nevermind.

Hi Shark,

I saw some of that action going on with the eggs. Since we get another shot at it....can you tell me how to find the eggs that were working so well for you?

By the way, I went up to Bonneville today to see 4 fish with fins for 1 without. There was this one fish with a Kwickfish hanging out of his mouth that looked like the one you described. The fish looked happy....like she was wearing it as a trophy. My guess is she was about 30 lbs.

Hey SLUTGODDESS, I know someone that has some eggs that work and I bet she would be willing to trade some for a fishing trip! Long time no see, I hope all is well. RW

Hi Bill,
That is one smart fish! I think she has decided to stay in the fish ladder for a few months. Good idea! If you want some eggs I have some I can give you but if you need a bunch I suggest calling Scott Amerman @ 503-392-9468 or 392 9450. His cured eggs out-fish any other I have used. The only downside is they aren't available in a forest green to match that beautiful boat of yours.

Chris
I am sure that the fish in question ate a bait of eggs the same day and was released again without its K14 tongue ring. But the guy being an egg fisherman and reading the words “please release me” released the plug too and watched it float away . Well that's just what I would bet anyway. Seriously thanks for all the nice words about my eggs here and on "who caught all the fish". Do you think anyone other than the two of us will be at Bonneville on Wed. morning?

Scott,
Forget about selling those eggs, I'm going to set up a lemonade stand. .
BTW, For anyone planning to launch on the WA side please note that there have been some grizzly bears sighted at the boat launch area....and some rattle snakes and lots of yellow jackets and dog doo everywhere...I don't recommend this launch!

You forgot to tell everyone that with the low water this year the ramp is really not suitable for boats over ten feet right now anyway . But, I figured everyone new this and all that stuff you said already since like for the last seven days or so I have not seen another boat up there. It like everyone else just quit or something. So I hope to see you there Wed. it would be nice to see another boat, If it wasn't for all the fish I would have begun to think I was in the wrong spot or something this week

So does anybody know why the folks in Washington closed the ramp just below Bonneville till May 1. IT did not need servicing as the news release said. What a bummer.
