Default Amature Radio Operators

Hi all.
I am a Amature Radio (ham) operator. And I am just curious how many if any of you ifishers are.

Howdy!

The call here is K7FU, I've been a ham for 30 years. First love is steelhead fishing and followed by a good CW (morse code for those none hams) contact.

Dustin,
I'm not, but brought back great memories of sitting with grandpa for hours and hours in Twin Rocks and talking to his buddies around the world. He had a world map with pins that marked his ham buddies. He'd use a bow and arrow to shoot a rope up in the firs to haul the antenna up to improve the reception. He'd keep a log of all of his communications. Need to find it. K7CXV. Some things you just don't forget. Thanks.

HEY COOL!
I didnt know if there would be any or not this is great!

Anyway A good repeater on 2 meters in the st. helens area is 146.88 MHz with a PL tone of 114.8 and a - offset. And for good coverage through all of St. Helens and all the way to portland and in washington try 443.125 with a PL of 100 and a + offset. I am on these to repeaters all the time. And am involed in ARES. Fun stuff. See ya !
