alcohol lamp?

I just got a alcohol lamp and it says to use denatured alcohol for it. I don't think that is rubbing alcohol is it? If I can find the fuel it will a great powder painting accessory, and thread burner. Educate me please [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

You can find denatured alcohol in the paint section of your hardware store.

I believe rubbing alcohol is isopropyl and denatured is actually 190 proof grain alcohol that has been intentionally poisoned so that the guys like o.mykiss and Kwicky don't throw a tap in it and store it under the wet bar [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
