Re: Anyone know what this is?????
I know there are false scorpians in central Oregon. I think they are related to spiders. That is what it loos like to me. I saw one many years back at a place in Sunriver. Check out this link...

I Don't know what it is called or what planet it is from.
I do know if it is in my house I must assume it is up to no good.

(kidding)
I like bugs outside.
Inside... it's a different story.

Back home we call that bait. Pete's site says it eats smaller bugs, did it look well fed?

Sure it is harmless, but Imagine if you were 1/4 of an inch tall.
Oh the humanity!

exactly right Pete. Saw some of these in a cave down at Malhuer field station during my college years. Creepy little harmless critters. Not fun to find in your bed though.

Re: Anyone know what this is?????
I found one of these a year or so ago in a chanterelle, and Fish_N_Russ was quick on the draw to identify it.

And I just thought it was a cool bug!

Yep the problem with the harmless pseudoscorps is that where you see one, there are a quadzillion of them behind the walls and under the cabinets just waiting for the lights to go out....
