Patience, Patience. 52 degree water and the 1st of May and they will come. I am still optomistic about the Willamette run. Last year was killer in late April and May with a much smaller run.

Extremely slow in the Willamette still. Wheres the Willamette fish? All those huge numbers in the Columbia and there should be lots of fish going into the Willamette already. Haven't heard of any nooks in the Clack yet either.

Fished OC this morning, Who opened up the flood gates and let all the boats in??

Saw 2 fish caught this morning, not to good for the numbers of hooks in the water.

I cannot even imagine how many people will get out on Saturday.

Kinebra,
No, I am not the "Rag Man." I love fishing with Rags for Steelies so "Rags" was my chosen board name. I started fishing with Rags on the Olympic Peninsula several years ago. Caught my first 20lber on a Rag. You should try one above a prawn for Springers. Keep that a secret Put a little Marie's Scent on it.

I was backbouncing up around the Lake Line last night for about 1 1/2 hours. I saw 4 fish boated and 2 lost. They are there, just gotta put in your hours and work for them.

REMEMBER TO FISH LATE THIS WEEKEND ON THE WILLAMETTE. TIDE ARE LATE AFTERNOON EARLY EVENING. BITE IS ON THEN THROUGH OUT THE RIVER. WATCHED A LINE OF EIGHT BOATS TUES IN OC FROM 3:45 TO 5:45. THAT LINE HAD 7 FISH ON DURING THAT TIME. I COULD ONLY SEE 11 BOATS IN THE ENTIRE AREA. BEST BITE CAME AT AROUND 4:45PM.
