Default Where can I buy Gami's in bulk?

I typically pay around 25 cents a hook buying Gami's in packets of 25 from Bass Pro and Cabela's. Does anyone have a source of cheaper Gami Octopuses in sizes 1/0 to #6? If so do they sell via fax or the Internet?

Many thanks.

I've purchased Gammy hooks from Anglers Arsenal in the past. Try the link below:

I clicked on the link and couldn't find Gamakatsu Octopus hooks listed. Maybe you can help. (I also had a look at the Maxima line and was disappointed that it looks like 8lb is the highest they carry.)

Am I missing something?

Snagly, I have their catalog somewhere. How many Octopus hooks did you want to buy?

I had a friend who bought them direct from Gamakatsu for his sturgeon fishing a few years ago. Perhaps they would still sell direct in bulk if they are not available otherwise. Might be worth a call to customer serivce. Good luck and fishing.

212hjet,
I e-mailed Gamakatsu about a month ago to find out if I could buy direct from them. I was told that it is against their Company policy to sell to the general public.

I just got a new catalog last night that has a bunch of different hooks, lines, wieghts, lure making supplies and a bunch of other stuff. When I get home tonight I will check and see if it has what you are looking for. Their prices are always pretty cheap.

I'll probably be looking for 250+ x #4's and 50 x #6's and #2's. The best price I've found in a brief catalog search was Cabela's at $4.59 x 25 #4's for 18 cents/ each. I suspect that will be hard to beat.

Thanks for the phone numbers, I'll give them a call, too.

Best of luck finding gamy 100pks, Fisherman's at times has them in stock, but only when they receive a direct order from Gamy. Even then then don't order enough and they are gone in an instent. All Sports their re-supplier between direct orders I don't think carries the hundred pks which adds to to supply delay for Fishermans. You will find very few manufacturers who will sell direct to consumer in the tackle business, it is not to their best interest in the long wrong, generally.....

Good Luck

Didn't find your specific hook but thought I would throw this website up anyway. I would suggest getting on their mailing list for catalogs because they have some good deals on occassion.
