Thanks Jen,
I've been lurking out there. With the two jobs just haven't had much to write about. Now that the Blazers are about done I will have some free time and be out there fishing again. I visit here almost every day for my I wish quota. Your stories are the best. It will be more when I ever get an ISP for my home computer. Just been to busy to research it.

Willamette Park! Make sure he gets the Oregon Boater's Manual and reads it. The boat has to be registered also - it has a motor. WEAR that P.F.D. !

Default Little boat

Ok now no laughing...My 17 year old son worked for his first boat. It is about a 10 foot dingy looking thing to me. It has oars and a small trolling motor. I was just wonder if anyone had ideas for "Safe" place to try it out. Of course grandpa thiks this is perfect for mom and son. I have very little boat (none) experience and have always been a bankie. Appreciate any advice.

Coffenbury lake, sunset lake, Cullaby Lake.
The Klaskanine river is a great place too. You can have a blast trolling for jack salmon.
I am glad to see you back, Becky!

Make sure you tell him not to overload it. And most definitely have the pfd's. Not to mention all the Required safety equipment...like fire extinguisher, lights aif used in the dark, whistle or horn, flag, and one Coast Guard Approved PFD for each person.
