Fishing Victoria,B.C. Guide? Price?? Help

Hello fellow fisher-persons,
What a wonderful web site. I can't believe that I have been on the web for over a year,and had not found all you fine folks!
I have a question for you all as my very first post.
The wife and I are going to Victoria,B.C. the week of May 14th. I am going to be able to slip away for 1 day of halibut and/or salmon fishing. Can anyone help me with a reputable guide? Would you know how to get a hold of said guide, and what might I expect to pay them?
Thanks for any help you can lend me.
This is my first time on a B/B, so if I hooked anyone in the ear with my first cast,sorry, but my casting WILL get better!!

Sooke is about 20-25 miles West of Victoria. Very good fishing (at times) Beautiful area. Search "Sooke" and I expect that you will find the Sooke Guide Association. You can also rent 15 - 17' Hourstons and downriggers, etc at Pedder Bay Marina. I am sure you could find a guide there also.
It is believed that a lot of columbia river fish come close in near Sooke. The Cheesers call 'em Columbians.

FWIW those Chinook off Sooke are NOT Columbia fish they are Fraser fish.
Sooke is too far 'inside' Juan de Fuca Strait for Columbians.
