Fishing Vicariously thru others
Just wanted to take a minute to say I'm fishing vicariously thru you all.
Last Wednesday I encountered a fast moving Car into the rearend of my pick-up,needless to say,the impact has left me some what out of it...neck pain ,lower back and a headache that won't stop
So that means I can't sit here for too long and rowing my Cat is not an option at all.
Just trying to take it easy and hope things improve so I can chase the elusive Springer like the rest of you.....keep up the good work....try and leave a few for me....Os

Re: Fishing Vicariously thru others
O's Sorry to hear that. Hope you get back on your feet soon.
Is this the same truck you were trying to sell, has the price suddenly dropped?
When the insurance guys show up anyday trying to pay you off, talk in terms of numbers of Gloomis poles not dollars, that ought to drive them crazy.

Re: Fishing Vicariously thru others
Wow that's bad news, sorry to hear that even
though you are a die hard HUSKY fan. I had
not seen post you lately so I figured you were P.O.d. Wish I could burn some vacation to go fishing in your honor. Take care and get well for Floatilla II, Salmonator's saving you and REDNECK seats in his boat.

Re: Fishing Vicariously thru others
Boy, you're havin' a tough spring.....Sorry to hear about the latest incident. Don't feel alone with the vicarious fishing thing, though. There's usually a lot of travel time involved in chasing the fish that I do, not really anywhere over here to just drop by on the way home and wet a line. Even fishing gators on the Reach tends to be an all day event, and I refuse to fish for wussy little bass, or walleye that tend to fight like that occasional girl you pick up that just lays there.....Hang in there, it will get better....

Re: Fishing Vicariously thru others
Awwww shucks Os. I was just kidding about the pink and blue flowers. I figured that if I had told you that my boat was really painted black and orange with a big picture of bennie chewing up a dawg you might have left me hangin' at the boat ramp

Re: Fishing Vicariously thru others
O's
Sorry to har about your unlucky encounter with the car. I hope you get back to normal soon.
Dont look to me for the Vicarious fishing. My wife had a major surgery last friday. I wont be doing fishing for at least a couple weeks. I think I found a new career, A CNA. LOL.
Make sure you give that "Redneck" a flea dip before you head down for the floatilla. I have a hard time keeping my own mutts flea free. I hear those Husky fleas are tough little buggers.
GET WELL SOON!!!!!!!

Mike:
I was real sorry to hear about your accident. Hopefully, the therapy will go well and you'll be back on your feet in no time. Couple of years ago I broke my foot in November and missed almost the whole winter steelhead season. Well, the hatchery season anyway. I got back in time to catch some big nates. Besides, hurry up and heal up, I might need you to build me a raft frame.

Re: Fishing Vicariously thru others
Os: What a bummer. Sorry to hear you are down. Want me sneak you some of the wife's pain pills (Down RT )
Talked to Dan and he said the river we floated has not produced for him since we went.
Went fishing with Jeffhead and his dad. I got one.
Get well so we can get the p. boats out.
