Looking for a ride Friday.

Well, I had better start this thread off with a quick intro.

I have trolled through the ifish site for the last 6 years and been a member for the last 2. Last year I made my first contact via PMs with a few Salty Dogs (and fished with a few), but I will refrain from name dropping to preserve the innocent.

Born and raised in Central Oregon I grew-up flyfishing the Metolious and Deschutes and fished most of the lakes in the area. I went to school in Corvallis (on the 5 year program) and learned there were lots of fish bigger than 2 pounds in the world. After chasing Salmon, Steelhead and Sturgen in college, I have turned my focus to the ocean the last 6 years.

While bumming rides on friends boats the last several years has yeilded me tasty quantities of lings, halibut, tuna and other critters, I made a purchase with a friend last summer and now co-own a Grady.

Since I began fishing for tuna 5 years ago, the sickness has steadily grown and I look forward to captaining at least two of the OTC events in August (not sure about the July date yet).

Now that my intro is complete, I am optomistic for forcast Friday. My boat is here at home, 2+ hours from the coast and I don't really want to trailer it all the way over to fish by myself Friday. If anyone would be willing to let me fish with them on Friday I would be very appreciative. I have my own gear and I have always been generous with gas money. Anywhere from Newport to Illwaco is feesable.
