Default Going to Cabo

I know this has been discussed before many times, but does anyone have any recent experience with boats and skippers in Cabo?
I have been there several times, but not in a few years. Things seem to change very fast down there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Checkmate Sportfishing...Chuck Baker is the owner.

Nice boats, nice gear and reasonable prices.

Good luck!

Kevin,

When are you going? I am going in May. If our times work, we could possibly share a boat.

Anyway, we like Pochos Charters, and the best may be Eddie on the Vaquero, a new 35' Cabo express. I can get you contact info if you want.

Have fun!

There is only one word you need to know.... Picante...
They are highly recommended.

You can find cheaper outfits to fish but not better charters.

I appreciate all your help. Excellent recommendations and I will look at all the options.
I have seen Picante Fleet and read their reports quite often.
A 35' Cabo Express is awesome but most likely too many dinero's but will check it out.
Looks like I will be there may 23 thru the 30th but thinking about extending through the weekend into June.

Pete, give me a ring at my office or send me a PM.

Again, many thanks to all. Well let you know how we fared.

Just got back, we booked a panga through our resort and it only cost $140 total for the day, plus license and bait, we caught 4 spanish mackeral but it was a pretty slow day, later in the week i heard of a boat catching 25 but we never made it out again.
