I think any one that shoot at any road sign for what ever reason Is ANTI HUNTER and ANTI GUN , they might as well go join PETA and the anti gun groupes. It burns my back side when I see road signs all shot up, I was told by one cop over east it is the LOCALS that are doing allmost all the shooting. Thats my story and I am sticking to it.

I have a similar story, I have been with the Snohomish County Sheriffs Search and Rescue for six years. One time we were searching for a missing college student on Mount Pilchuck. The area is known for its meth labs and as a drop spot for stolen items. We were in really thick brush trying to finish our grid when our GPS showed that we were getting close to the main road to the top of the Mountain. So instead of bush whacking our way back the way we came we decided to work our way to the road. When we could see the road through the bushes we noticed we were near a trailhead and there were several cars parked beside it. One of the cars was in the process of being burglarized. There were two tweekers rummaging around in the car. At the top of the mountain was our command center and no less then 3 sherriffs deputies. We stayed in the bushes and radioed the command center. The tweekers left before the deputies could get to them but they were able to chase them down and arrest them.

Now, that is a good one... GOOD thing IC was near. Was the Vehicles Ground teams, or just hikers?.

Prineville-Says everything right there!

Just like the uncle and grandfather taking the 16 yr old grandson/nephew out and have him shoot a 6 pt bull elk from the truck around the Prinevville Resv. and leave it in the field. That one cost 6 bull elk tags to be lost in that years general bull season.

Doesn't make any sense!

I happened to talked to the officer who was in charge of that. He said what they did not say, was on the other side of that sign and through the brush was where they all had tents set up and people lounging around. Lucky thing no one was hit. Dumb kids.
