Question Anyone ever use ticketretriever.com

Anyone ever purchased tickets through ticketretriever.com? I want to get some tickets to the sold out Killers concert May 26th at the Keller Auditorium in Portland. Tickets are available on Craigslist but I don't want to get scammed.

Is the site reliable and if you have used ticketretriever.com did everything go OK as far as getting real tickets not counterfits. I would hate to show up at the box office and not be able to get in and be out a couple hundred dollars.

Any feedback would be helpful.

I have not used that particular website. However, a couple of suggestions for you. I have used stubhub in the past and they are a top notch outfit but you will pay a percentage in fees.

I have used Craigslist for tickets on a regular basis and have never had a problem but with anything you need to be careful. Always insist on hard tickets, not ones you can print out at home. Also, it is a good idea to check ID when you pick up your tickets and copy down the information from a driver's license. A reliable source for tickets should not object to this process.

Lastly, if you really want to see a show, head to the venue. Tickets always become available and are usually around face value just before the band is set to take the stage.

Enjoy the show!

Another option is hit the bands web site, they should have a forum section ask for extra tickets - I've gotten rid of tickets and gotten really good seats in the past that way. What raiderRon suggests works very well, if the show starts the tickets are about useless - just wait them out. Sometimes the box office will hold a few tickets to keep the scalpers at bay as well - got into a sold out Tangerine Dream show that way - 6th row center
