Default .17 HMR Ammo

In an effort to save time and energy, I am wondering if anyone knows where the best price can be found on .17 HMR ammo? (My rat trip is only three week away!)

OK, so I'm lazy and willing to let others scour the ads for me, whatever, but can you help?

I've had the best luck at BiMart. I didn't see this weeks add so I'm not sure if they are on sale right now.
I noticed that even their sale price has gone up from last year though.:frown::frown:

Don't wait too long Rusty, I ordered some more .223 ammo, Cabelas said they will get it in around June 4th! That's alright, I have a bunch of reloading supplies coming, I will be fine!

Is it just me or is everybodyelse seeing tight supplies this year?

I just got back from a two day trip shooting rats over in eastern Montana. I went through 200 rounds of 17 HMR. The best shooting (200 yard kills) was the CCI - TNT explosive stuff I picked up at Walmart here in Missoula. It was $7.58 for 50 rounds which is the cheapest I have found. It was just as accurate if not more than the Hornady V-Max I used as well which is more expensive.

Pretty tight on supplies here also. I heard from a buddy that runs a gun room in my neck of the woods that there was going to be a primer shortage coming along. It had something to do with Military Orders that had to be filled first. I've been waiting for my S&W 1911 to show up for dang near three months now, I wish they'd hurry up.
