Default Define steelhead

A friend of ours was in town for an extended weekend and wanted to do some fishing. He was at somewhat of a loss with the current weather we are having. Today we decided to throw caution to the wind and go fishing. Boy were those forcasters wrong!!!!
Snowy, but not a problem to drive.

We hit a couple of our favorite spots and found some willing takers. We were drifting most of the day with some success coming with the jigs too. I would post a report on how to jig fish the way we were doing today, but don't want the hassle it brings with certain members. I would however, be VERY VERY open to helping out with any tips or rigging info that you might have questions about. Please email me if you have some questions.

Bobby

Steve

Happy fishing, and set the hook hard!

You haven't fooled me Bobby. Nice try. That second picture is just a oil painting with Bobby superimposed in front of it. That is way to perfect to be a fishing hole.

Nice fish guys. The drive over this week was interesting to say the least, but the fishing was fun in the snow. Grant, nice seeing you at the take out Thursday.

You both must have hot oil for blood for standing out there in the snow with just a sweatshirt on!!

Looks like you hiked in to that spot. I would have expected poly-liner under polarfleece under gortex winter armor.

Or did you carry a propane heater with you???

Nice fish.

We were not at that spot long. We needed our big coats, it was somewhere around 20+ there. Man was it cold.

Beautiful - both fish and scenery. Despite the snow, it looks warmer than the Sandy was yesterday. It's pretty odd when 35º water seems warm in comparison to the air!
