I found this awhile back and so far everytime I make it someone asks for the recipe. So I thought I would share it here. Hope you like it.
Salmon Cheese ball With Nuts
2 8 oz packages cream cheese softened
1 teaspoon Dry Horseradish (I used the real stuff)
½ Cup Real Butter Softened
1 Tablespoon chives finely chopped
2 Cup shredded cheddar cheese (8oz)
8 to 12 oz canned Salmon. (I used Smoked Salmon)
¼ teaspoon liquid smoke) I left this out because I use smoked salmon)
½ teaspoon Paprika
1 Cup roasted nuts finely chopped (I have used Almonds or Hazel nuts.
Mix all ingredients together except nuts.
Shape in to balls or a logs (This make 2 good size logs)
Roll logs in chopped nuts.
Cover and refrigerate. Do not store longer than 4 days.
You won’t have to worry about storing for 4 day it won’t last that long.
.
If you make changes and they work please post them so we can all try them.
Enjoy
