I am startin to go crazy. I have nothing to hunt right now. I can't wait for turkey season. Anyone else feelin the same way?

Not really. Always something out there to go after.

Jan--- chukar and waterfowl
Feb--- predators and bunnies
March- bunnies and predators early shifting to rats late.
April--- Turkey, Bear, Carp, spring fishing and Horns.
May--- Bear, Turkey, Carp yada yada yada
June--- Rats, fishing
July---- Fishing turns to scouting big game.
August- Scouting turns to bowhunting.
Sept.-- All about elk and mule deer bowseason.
Oct. -- Bird seasons.
Nov.--- Bird seasons.
Dec.--- Bird seasons, traps come out.
Jan---- Start over.

you got a point, i just dont have to time to travel east just to shoot rats although i would like to, i have to stick to stuff that i can do on this side of the mountain and i am not a dog hunter so as of right now i have nothing to kill.

I here ya! gas is expensive, work is long, school is supposed to be important. I got the guns out of the safe today and oiled em' up, shoulered each a few times to remind them that i hadn't forgot about them. april 15th will be here before you know it, then it will be time to put in for tags and start planning for the fall. hang in there!

Go down to Mitchells and shoot some sporting clays with us sometime

Go out to Hillsboro, Portland, or another gun club and shoot trap and skeet. It gives you something to do, PLUS, it will help improve your shooting!!

It's starting to become a habit for us

Name a day. Sundays work better for me, though--I'm in a firefighter academy on most Saturdays.

Dan, I feel your pain! Hali opens on May 1st and of course TUNA afterwards. Turkey on tax day, so that will help.

I am guessing that you killed a few brain cells drinking green beer on St. Pat's Day? ( I am O'Leary for God's sake)...hehe

since me and the pops are gettin our duck/fishin boat this weekend i will be on the river a ton, so that will fill sometime. I would love to go to mitchell's but that get spendy real quick, i actually used to work at mitchell's and i would have to say that his place and tri county are a couple of the nicest gun clubs i have ever seen.
