Yes it will keep ice frozen... for several days.
A "medium" bag will hold more salmon then you are allowed to keep.

What most of us consider a medium bag is somewhere in the range of 28x48 or 30x60. The 30x60 will hold 15-20 medium grade tuna with ice.

Reliable makes a high quality reinforced bag with drain. For that bag, expect to pay $215-$240, maybe a little better if you get a deal. There are other bags out there that are cheaper, but Reliable is good quality.

I ordered (2) 30 by 65 bags and paid 205 dollars with shipping. I put ice in them and they held ice for days. Probably not as heavy duty as the ones Nalu speak of but for what you will use them for, they will work just fine. They have a drain plug and two big handles to lift them and move them around. Well insulated and heavy duty. They fit in the fish boxes in my Seahawk with no issues. Best 200 bones I spent in a long time. One bag will put more salmon in there than you gonna or wanna catch in a day.

If you like, shoot me a PM and I'll give you the contact info for order. They are 99 bucks a piece.
