Default Side Drifting

I have come to the conclusion I reallly need to start using spinning gear to side drift. What is the preffered line, ie braided, mono?

Bob,
You have a local outlet you can find the izor hi vis at? Other than online I can't seem to find it. It is great line.
Thanks,
Bill

Sean, Bob is top notch... couldn't go wrong. By the way it's time for a local jig lesson again. Have you noticed the counts.

Bill... I'll take a side drifting lesson from you...

High viz lines really help the rower.

Best advice I was ever given is to use a lighter weight than you'd think would work, then go lighter yet. We usually run 4 bead .210's, start them upstream, and let the rower ease them into the slot...Once you get it down its by far the easiest way to catch numbers of steelies. Good luck!

Pepito as we get into spring, get ahold of me for
some summer sidedrifting lessons on the Cowlitz.
I'll be their late mid May thru early August....
I'm half done tyin up the 1,800 leaders I'll use then  ....I better get busy before the springer onslaught.

WetWilly, up here SportCo handles Izorline.
A 5,000 yard spool of 10# Hi Vis is like $26.00

Roger, how the heck are yah? You ready to start banging some springers? I'm ready for springers........... getting real tired of tying sidedrifting rigs.
