Default Is the MC considered Oregon only?

I think I know the answer to this but wanted to make sure. I was planning on launching at Scapoose Bay Marina. Where is the WA/OR line?

MC is part of the Willamette system so yes it is Oregon only.

You should be able to launch on the Oregon side, fish the Columbia with your Washington license and take out at Scappoose bay. You just can't fish the channel.

From the ODFW 2004 Angling Regs:

“The boundary is a straight line across the mouths of the Willamette (including Multnomah Channel)”

It doesn't matter here you launch, it's where you're fishing that you need to be licensed for.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">garyk's right! You can launch from either side, but if you're fishing OR waters, you better have an OR license and vise versa for WA! Mr Gamie doesn't care where you put in, just as long as your legal to fish those waters!
