Angler of Repose Tuna! Join Date: Dec 2002 Location: East County Posts: 1,259	HVAC duct testing and diagnosis? I heard something how a person needs to have their HVAC ducts tested for leaks because this is where the majority of heat is lost. I guess the state offers some kind of tax credit on the work done. Can anyone provide any information on this? What is done? Average cost? Who benefits? My house is a 30 year old ranch with under the floor ducts and it is a bear to heat in the winter.
