The Robins are back....

I have been feeding the Varied Thrushes (Winter Robins) on my deck for the past few months. A minute ago I saw one land on a log with his back to me. He didn't look quite right. Then he bounce-bounce-bounced down the log and I knew before he turned around that the Robins were back. His mate joined him a minute later.

Daffodils are about 3-4" tall here. Spring is on the way.

Yeah, I just noticed that my backyard could use a mowing too. Ah...spring. Ah....springers.

Went out the door this morning and I couldn't believe what I heard!

I moved into town about three years ago, and moved back out to the country last summer. I forgot what spring sounds like. It makes it hard to drive back into town for work.

I just want to hook up to the boat and head for the lakes.

Heard the same for the first time up here as well. Seems like winter just started and it surely doesn't seem that winter has ended.

Spring has sprung. The frogs in the pond are so loud at night I can't even use my phone on the deck their so loud. The blus Harons are having a feast lately.
