Alaska Bound

Going to be in Denali in May for a week for work. Is there any good fishing around that time in the area? Anything I should see? Not too familiar with AK, as this will be my first time there.

You may be able to get into grayling or trout. It's a little early for any salmon up that way.

As has been said, it's a little too early for Salmon. The problem you will face in SouthCentral Alaska is the limited road system means that if you can drive to it...it will be crowded and overfished. The only suggestion I might make if you're willing to hike a ways is to get away from the beaten path and hike up or downstream a few miles. You might get into some decent Grayiling and or Rainbow fishing. Take a weapon with you since Alaska has the occasional bear to deal with.

As far as what to see? Denali park is a standout! Hopefully you'll get to take a tour of the park, see the mountain and wildlife that exists there.
