Default First SRC of the year

On my way back home from the DU banquet in Selah my buddy called and wanted to get out an fish for a little bit. There have been a lot of resident silvers and some blackmouth around but the cuts have been elusive. Was finally able to find my first one of the year. A nice fish that needs to put on a little weight. I hope to find him in the late summer. He;d be a beast then.

I love these little guys.

I recommend fishing for cutthroat in the salt. It's a kick and you never know what you may catch! Six weight rod and lots of backing!

Default 3/14 again... :)

had another good evening... although my buddy John needs a slump buster in a bad way... I went 10-10 and he was 0'fer 2.
4 cuts and 6 resident silvers. All on an olive/white #6 clouser. 1 pic to come in the am.

Default 3/15 :)

Hit a different beach this evening on a nice outgoing tide. This particular spot has a big flat with drop off on the lower end. So the tide rips across the flat and brings any bait right to the waiting fish on the edge. I ended up with 6, 1 cut, 4 silvers and 1 blackmouth. All on the olive/white clouser once again. i'll post another pic in the morning.
