Re: reloading season
Man I ned to cleam my reloading room and grease up the dillions, as I have 10,000 rounds of 223 to reload hoping for a few days of good rat hunting and any other small varmit type critters. Also I need to get set up for .204 ruger.

That's funny! ME TOO! Oh man how I've let the crud pile up. Can barely see the 650 peeking out of the mess.
And with the .280's scope accident.....I guess it's time to pull the unfired A-Bolt 7mmWSM out and start working up a load eval for it. The .280 is officially "retired". The time has come for changing of the guard.
Let the fun begin.

Re: reloading season
I thought that reloading season started on Dec. 1? shoot, I guess I jumped the gun a little on that one. I dont have anything else to reload! maybe with a little good weather and some luck I can start chipping away on some of those reloads on 4/1/07.

Geez . . . 'must be telepathy or something in the air . . . I just looked into my ammo drawer last night and have been thinking I might do some handloading this weekend. Don

Re: reloading season
Hmm...me too!
Now that (most) hunting is done with for awhile, I've got to get out there and reload some more "Buffalo" ctg.s!
Some .45-70s w/550g Creedmoors
.45-100s with the same 550 grainers
some .45-60s for the 1876 Winchester...gotta reload these with Pyrodex.
and, some .40-65s w/410g. long range bullets.
Oh, yeah, and maybe I'll work on some more load development for my .20 Ruger.

Hey Baltz,
BiMart might have it, or the Nosler store in Bend.

Re: reloading season
Guess I have to plead guilty , hope the sentence isn't to stiff . I have been reloading all year . Did not know the season has been closed . Sorry I really hate to not follow regulations .( talked to a friend last nite in Klamath and he has a few sage rats running around on about 6" of snow )

Re: reloading season
Good reminder
I have 2-3 25-06s to work on deer loads for
A new 270 that needs some reduced loads
My 338 finally will get updated with 225 grain triple skocks
Dawns 30-06 needs some more love and attention including 4064
A 308 Norma will get the X bullet treatment as well
Better dust off the rockchucker.

Re: reloading season
243 85gr hpbt, it shoots .960" groups, 3031fps average. the surprising load is the 308 180gr partition 2396fps a little slow, but it shot one .300" three shot group. not bad for a 1.75x6x20 scoped gun.

Re: reloading season
I just bought my first shotgun reloader and a whole mess of stuff for a really great deal on the classified section. I'm going to load 12ga 1-1/8oz Hevishot #6 2.75" loads at 1315fps for duck and local pheasant. Dead in the air is the only way to fly.
