Default Stolen Boats! Keep Your Eyes Open!

Some new boats were stolen over the weekend. Please keep your eyes and ears open and see if we can't help put these criminals away!

I know Jeff and he's a honest, hardworking guy and I feel sorry for him. I hope the perps are caught and strung up!

Tom and Jerrys is in a terrible spot. They are in the middle of nowhere and the police coverage is very thin. I assume they have some type of surveillance system, so hopefully they got a plate. There is a public boat ramp a few hundred yards away and no joke, the ENTIRE parking lot is lined with broken glass. I was going camping on Saddlebag Island last year and planned on using the ramp. I pulled up and there was a brand new pickup with the window broken out and the dash torn apart and a car next to it with the window smashed. I went crabbing a few weeks later and swung by the ramp and there was fresh glass all over the place.

I hope they catch these guys. I just bought a 26 ft Raider and I don't want guys that have experience taking them apart, running around. I will definitely keep an eye out. Raider doesn't make many boats and the 24 cuddy is new, so that is probably the only one with red siding around.

Just to clarify that the boat was last seen heading North on Marine View Drive. Marine View Drive heads North then connects to I-5, so the boats easily could have gone South as well.

Bob,
I agree with you about the location of the ramp. I went over to La Conner and used the lift. Much nicer and clean and security.

Damn these guys are getting pretty ballsy. I don't know much about Tom and Jerry's but I drive by Bayside all the time on the way to the marina. I've seen that North River sitting there just inside the fence on numerous ocassions.

A good bolt cutter and truck and your outta there with it in 5 minutes. They used to park a truck or something else behind the gate but I haven't seen them doing that for awhile.

I will keep my eye's open and I hope they catch the perps. My guess though is the boats are already out of the state somewhere. Be kinda dumb to keep them around here. Course meth heads are kinda dumb if that's who did it.

Update:

Bayside locks the gate and parks a old truck on the inside of the gate. The perp or perps rammed the gate, pushed the truck out of the way by ramming it, hooked onto the boat and hauled off with it. I think they had the plan all thought out. Not likely ******** as most of them probably don't have a decent enough truck to pull this off.

So they did have the old truck behind the gate. Strange they hadn't been doing that for awhile and I go by there just about every week once or twice early in the am.

That makes the whole thing even stranger. There's lot's of boat traffic in that area at 6 or 6:30 on a weekend. You would think someone would've seen or heard that kind of commotion.

Todd, your right about the truck. ******** don't usually have anything but junk to drive. Unless they stole the truck as well.
