Willie,
Just had a look at your site. You're doing a great job The pictures are good .. although I have to admit, I'm a little envious of the wee fella, Joseph! 2 bright chromers, and only 7 years! Whoaaa! Isn't he a lucky bugger
Our sons love to fish too.. but haven't had a chance to go steelhead fishing yet... One day! Thanks for sharing

Willie
Looks great. Love the pictures of the little guy with the Steelhead. Good for you to get him into Steelhead at such a young age. You'll have a fishing partner for life now.

Actually the lttle guys dad got him into the fish, He just e-mailed the pics from the last 2 days of fishing. On tuesday we floated together.
This seems to be the week for people to get there first steelhead. On monday a friend of mine took his 9 year old daughter down the North Santiam and she caught not 1 but 2 steelhead. One was a fresh summer fish and the other was a big winter nate. And Monday afternoon the Little guys in the pics mother caught her first
steelhead on the South Santiam.
When my niece and nephew get old enough Im onna try my hardest to get them into fishing. At 6 years old my niece is already a bluegill catching fool.
Angel,
This summer you should be able to get out and get your first.
Good luck to ya!
