He will be away for a couple of days, so I would appreciate your heads up in any matters that I need to attend to.
I won't be around much either, but I'll try and be of assistance if you need help with passwords, etc.

There's no right thing to say at moments like these, 'cept I too will keep you and your family in my prayers. I've been down this road myself more than once, and the only thing I've found eases the pain is time, and some "happy memory" induced tears.
