K-13 Kwikfish
I've seen in some posts that the new K-13 Kwikfish is available. I haven't run across it at Fishermans in Delta Park, GI Joes, or other tackle shops. Luhr Jensen doesn't have it on their website. Where are you guys/gals getting these? I fish a K-14 90% of the time, but find that some days they will only hit a K-12. I'm interested in a K-13 if someone can help me find one. Thanks!

Re: K-13 Kwikfish
K13s are the newest thing to hit the market and are extremely cool!
Bill Monroe, Bill Hedlund and Jim Martin kind of field tested them.
I will be getting some to give away on the board here. I'll have some kind of contest or something.
It won't be for a week.
They are impossible to find right now, although the letter I just got from Buzz says
there are some paid orders going out, so someone is getting some!
I have to wait till next week. They are making them as fast as they can!!!

Re: K-13 Kwikfish
You kill me, dogsalmon. Thanks, Jennie. I was beginning to wonder if it was just a big rumor. I'm kind of suprised that Luhr Jensen hasn't got them on their webpage yet, but if they aren't available yet, I guess it makes sense. I might try contacting Luhr Jensen directly to see who they have sold them to. I'll let everyone know if I find out if they are available anywhere. I wonder if flatfish will follow suit with an intermediate size?

Re: K-13 Kwikfish
From what I understand it's more than a size thing. The lure is wider, constructed out of different material, and manufactured differently than the current kwikfish on the market. It's suppossed to dive deeper and requires no tuning. My guess is all the guides have them and soon they will be in the stores. The K13 will quickly become this years "gotta have" lure. The Marketeers are hard at work here!
