Milwaukie area report

Slow...slow...slow. Took out at noon or so. Fish checker at the ramp only had one fish. [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] Since the wind was blowing, and I promised my buddy's wife I'd put the top up on the sled for her...I may just as well have been sailing in the America's Cup!! [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img] What a stormy day.....and to think I saw an anchored boat fishing for sturgeon land a salmon??? [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img] Go figure!!

I thought about going fishing today, but because of the wind I didn't. But I did drive by the Milwaukie launch and notice the extreme lack of trailers and boats on the water. That says a lot in itself. My wife and I went to Saturday market and people watched instead.

I caught 2 or 3 sturgeon while backbouncing for springers last year - you just never know what's looking at your bait! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
