I came across a few things that I hadn't seen before that got my juices going.
1)Hog Island Boat Works - The worlds first precision engineerd roto molded drift boat. This boat was cast in a single mold and made out of what amounted to recycled milk jugs. Way cool!!

2)Young Guns Adventures - A week long camp at Lehman Hot Springs for kids 10 to 17 years of age. This week long camp covers hunter safety, survival skills, map and compass reading, hunting and fishing ethics, fishing skills, trap shooting, rifle and archery, out door cooking, tree stand climbing, water safety, game calling and over night survival. This will be a cool birthday present for my son.
3) Signed up for my years subscription to Salmon / Steelhead Journal. This new magazine covering the NW fishing is a great addition to my coffee table.
4) Picked up the latest brochure for the Big K Ranch in Elkton. My self and a couple of buddies are going to take a break from the ocean going fisheries this summer and go on what looks to be a one of a kind small mouth bass fishing trip.
5) Gathered as much info as I could from numerous outfitters to go fish tarpon in Costa Rica. Might not be this year but I will make that trip someday.
6) Got my new "i-fish" kwik fish. Cant wait to use it.

P.S. My compliments to the show organizers. I did the shuttle thing from Portland Meadows for the very first time. They really had it dailed in this year. Never waited for more the 3 minutes for a bus and the cost of parking is half of what they get at the Expo Center.
