Default ifish loading twice...

Jen, i'm assuming your e-mail is still down so i'll post this here. Each time I load the main page it loads twice. One right after the other. The same thing when I click on a thread. It's only this site that's doing it, I follow another forum with the exact same format and it doesn't do it.

Just a tip for those who think the main page loads slow. After loading the main page once, instead of left clicking a thread to open it, right click on it and chose "open in new window". After reading you can just X that window out and be right back to the main page. I don't know if it's the same for internet explorer or not but it helps with netscape.. Joe

I'm not having the load twice problem, but Ifish seems to be really sloooooooooooow tonight. I tried the open new window thing but it made no differance. I use msn explorer.

Sounds to me like it might be a setting in Netscape. Can't be her site or it would be doing it to everyone. Netscape is quirke about things like that. Tried it for about a month and went running back to Internet Explorer. Also in Microsofts way of taking over the world. Any pages created with FrontPage 2000 won't display correctly unless you use Internet Explorer. Pretty tricky huh?

Mornin,
It is a netscape issue for sure.
Thing is, I paid money for this board and I hate to go back to the old one.
I wrote about it, and asked for a fix. We'll see how long it takes.
WHen I wrote earlier about it, I got "My co worker here at UBB uses netscape and has no problems." I hate that!

I'm using explorer and I tried your tip. I think it did save some time in the reload.
