Default Good morning fisher people!

Hey, on a final note about the RT situation.
Believe me, it is not something I wanted to do, and again, once again, the problem is totally unrelated to the style of his posts. It is not a matter at all of the "Family board".
I really wish it didn't have to occur but it is out of my hands. I know many of you enjoy his posts.
It was soley a biz decision that had to be addressed, and I am very sorry and ashamed that it had to be addressed in public.
It really isn't up for debate, so we might as well move on.
Thank you for your time....
Jen

lighten up big guy

I meant the stuff that said "featuring RT" and such ... note that this has been done ...

certainly I would not want all of the great information that Steve posted to be taken from the archives.

Because of the above post by Jennie stating that this situation 'has nothing to do with his post contents", and for false calims made by her in the "As the Ifish World Turns - Again", I posted the following in the other thread and copy/pasted it here:

Trail of e-mail documented proof/summary of the facts behind this sitution.

Resolution: A rightful posted reply to the inaccuracies directed at me (RT) by Ifish
Administrator Jennie. Hopeful end of subject and on with fishing and fun. Or if this post is deleted or my monkier banned, legal libel recourse and exposure of the pertinent
documents as a matter of public court record, as well as copies of the above
documents e-mailed to several prominent Ifish BB members.

Reason: To rightfully defend my wrongfully compromised credibility prior to publication of my book with the words Reel Truth in the title. ...

I've been away from the BB for 3 days up here in Seattle and just got on the hotel night
manager's computer in the wee hours of Monday morning to read some very nice supportive comments about me; that I appreciate very much! Those are nice words of wisdom you posted Kingofbacklash. Since we are humans and not saints they can only be nice goals.

Inaccuracies here need to be addressed. Since I posted Thursday night that I was going to step away to ascertain if I could continue in my role here without undue criticism from Jennie, and left out of town early Friday, the Ifish Administrator has claimed falsely that "the problem is totally unrelated to the style of his posts", in the 'Good morning Ifish people' thread. And within this thread stated that I have sent out letters critical of a couple Ifish ad clients. First, you all have read Jennie's recent posts in her threads about BB content; both plaintive and mandative. Before and since that, have received many e-mails from her about her being upset with my BB post contents and that they were becoming essentially increasingly bothersome. This is the primary reason for what has happened; contrary to her claims otherwise. It's right in the 'trail of e-mail'. She then claimed her reaction of removing me as moderator after I stepped away publicly was caused by my letters to a couple of Ifish ad clients. Those were letters by me to them in response to actions they took detrimental to me. Jennie is
completely aware of this and likely has the same 'trail of e-mail' as proof. They are
dated long prior to this event! As for any broken confidentiality she claims against me will state that none was completely breached nor explicitly agreed to! There are e-mail
records depicting what occured there also. ...

Let there be no misunderstanding, this was indeed about BB content; which is her right as owner. But it is my right to have the truth known! If she can accept that and move
on, the rest of Ifish can move on. If not, you will get the correct info via e-mail and
court records open to the public. ...

For you great members here, am I so sorry that it had to come to this. I want it to go
away as much as anyone, but not with me wrongly damaged. Thanks for your patience
and understanding. - RT

Hey RT, A fishing website that will be up soon could probably use your services as a board moderator.

I'll let you know when I find out more information. I think you'll like the bikini section too As well I'm sure you could gather some really good, uncensored material for your book as well since that website will blame parents for letting their kids read offensive material when they ***** about it, instead of ******** at the moderator. You've got my support and the support from a couple of guys that are working behind-the-scenes as well. Arm-chair Martha Stewarts beware!

You've been warned....

Well, seeing as there has been a change of moderators, I think I will give this board a try again. I keep hearing that if you don't like it, don't read it. I didn't like it, so I didn't read it. I happened to pop in here, and saw what had happened. I think I'll give the board another try. Not that anyone missed me...

The air in here never smelled bad with Steve as moderator. If anyone had personal differences with Steve then it should have never kept you from posting. This is a pretty diverse bunch that posts on this BB and if you happen to disagree with the moderator that's okay too. I may in the future say something that some of you won't agree with but don't let it keep you from posting on this board. RT will continue to contribute to this forum and I for one welcome him

Right On The Money. Having a Liberal Democrat running the board never kept me from posting my conservative viewpoints.

happybrew,

If you talked more fishing and less politics, maybe you wouldn't have felt so out-of-place. But, gee, feel free to promote your conservative viewpoints now. None of the rest of us will disagree with you

Hate to tell all you ditto-heads this but I'm every bit as liberal as RT is. so let's just keep it to fishing if politics get your blood up.

Ya know BS, the politics of this region are just as big and as important as where to go, what to use and when to be there. If fish only threads are the way the board is heading, its going downhill. It is the differences that we have been able agree or disagree upon (admittedly sometimes heated) along with the fishing tech and funny lets dog each other threads that has made this board what it is today. If the vein is to try to eliminate all controversy, you are fightin' a losing battle. It cannot and will not be that sterile!!! Controversy is cool, as long as it remains civil!!! I have enjoyed being a member of the ifish family for a while now. I sincerly hope that the flavor of the board does not change to where we can't have some fun and discuss issues that affect us all, political or otherwise.
Good luck and tight lines, Jeff

I never said that Jeff! All I said was if the political topics bother some people, and apparently they do, then stick to the fishing topics and stay away from the more controversial threads. I would not want to be on a BB that ws to squeeky clean either but if something that is posted bothers me a lot then I'm not going to go to that particular thread. BS,
Thanks for clarifying what you meant, I may have been reading something into it. I guess I am trying to figure out where we are and where we are headed with the shake up. Just a question and sharing what I still would like to see in the board. I agree with what you are saying about the threads, there are some that I pass on.

Dan, I didn't come here to talk politics. I came here talk fishing. Do a search on my posts, and see how many were about politics, and how many were about fishing. I don't care if you disagree with me. But if I'm going to be called names when I make a civil response to what someone else says, I'll go elsewhere. When the moderator calls me "twisted" for following my religion, a religion that has a billion followers, that's a problem, and I'm not going to stick around and be abused. If you think I came here to push a conservative agenda, you are mistaken. If you think I don't want anybody to disagree with me you are mistaken. I just want to talk fishing in a civil manner with other fishermen. That's all. Do you remember the old bulletin board? I miss those days. Nothing but fishing. Fishing reports, fishing stories, fishing advice. The fish, the whole fish, and nothing but the fish! I really don't give a rip about anything but that. There are plenty of usenet discussion groups where politics can be discussed, and people flamed. Enough said. Let's talk fishing.
