Default Deck Foam Replacement

I have searched this forum for ideas on deck replacement foam and they all seem to end before anybody mentions what they used.

I have found several places that sell two part liquid closed cell foam (some are pretty spendy!). Is that what everyone uses? Here is a link to the most reasonably priced stuff I have found http://www.uscomposites.com/foam.html

Does the foam just start to fail after 10 years or so? Did all aluminum boat manufacturers use closed cell foam in the early 90's?

Foam getting waterlogged seems to be a problem for most boat owners. I would think there could be a better solution but I sure don't know what it might be.

Oh the solution is easy-the tough part is the expense. Just buy a boat big enough so it doesn't need built in flotation.

fiberglassupply.com has the CG approved self expanding foam. (It has flame retardant built in)
