Default Dog Training Land Access

I'm looking for some land or suggestion or where to run my Vizsla Jade. I want to put her in front of some birds before march. I believe she is ready to get some knowlege of how real birds act. I live in Madras Oregon so any help with private\public land areas that hold birds would great. Thanks TheHunter

I just went through this with our lab. Since there are not a lot of birds on public lands, and all the seasons are over, I'd recommend hitting the preserves where you can shoot over your dog until March 31.

My personal favorite is the Gateway Preserve, about 10 miles north of Madras. Excellent habitat, relatively easy to hunt, choice of birds (pheasants versus chukars), and really nice folks.
