Default Yamaha T8 kicker question

I can't find my manual so I'll ask here:

What does the little green light on the front of the engine when it's running mean?

The motor runs fine, electric start and trim work properly and seems to be charging just fine. The light isn't working anymore, but I've had no issues with the motor. Bulb burnt out?

The only light I have is red and it's a low oil pressure warning. It can come on when it starts and then goes out. If you go to the Yamaha website (parts/service) you can view/download your manual.

The light is a low oil pressure warning. On mine its either Red (briefly, after oil change) or theres nothing lit up. I've never seen it lit green.

Yeah, mine is red, just had a brainfart. I believe my Honda lit up indicating everything is A OK and assumed the Yami was the same. Thanks guys.

If anyone is interested in a free 2002 9.9 Honda long shaft , you can find it in about 85 feet of water off Government Point near Depoe Bay (Yes, it was a bad day) May be a bit corroded by now, but you're welcome to it. I think I still have coordinates...

Anyone recently have to replace their T-8's power trim motor? Can it be rebuilt or is it a total motor replacement. I was quoted at $750 for the part plus install. Is it worth trying to replace myself?

Captain Z.....Here's a thread from the past, I think there were some other threads with discussion of the problem also.

Smj, searched on these first, but none of these address anything specific to the tilt problem and repair. Thanks for trying, might have to ask the Boat Doc.
