Some friends of mine have "inherited" a good dog that they can't keep. "Belle" is 1/2 Black Lab and 1/2 Chesapeake and is an experienced upland/waterfowl hunter. Her exact age isn't known but probably is around 7-8 and she just got a clean bill of health from the vet. Other considerations: Current on her shots, no signs of arthritis and good with other dogs. Since she recently had to leave her lifelong home, it would be best if whoever she bonds with next will commit to providing a home for the rest of her life.
My friends have two dogs already and I have three, otherwise one of us would keep her. Somebody out there is a hunter in need of a good dog and she's a good dog in need of a master
