Default 8 horse Yamaha price?
A coworker of mine is wanting to sell me his 8 horse, 2 stroke Yamaha long shaft. It is a 2000 which he says has less than 20 hours total use. Is $850 a fair price? The guy is a good friend of mine and I don't want to short him on the deal. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds more than fair to me. Nadaguide lists average retail at $845. Good shape so $850 sounds about right to me. I wouldn't pay more...it is a two stroke.
